Can I use my subscription from multiple devices?
Yes, you can access your subscription from any device (phone, laptop, tablet) and from any location. Please note that sharing accounts is not permitted, and simultaneous logins are prohibited. Violations of our Terms & Conditions may result in account cancellation.
Can I reset my progress?
Yes, you can reset your question bank once from your account settings. Please note this will permanently erase all your progress and statistics and cannot be undone. Use it wisely, once it's gone, it's gone.
Can I switch between exam banks?
Yes, you can switch freely between them from your dashboard, your progress in each bank is tracked independently.
Do you offer CPD credit?
Passmed is an exam-preparation question bank rather than an accredited CPD provider. Time spent revising may count towards your personal CPD portfolio at your own discretion, but we do not currently issue formal Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits.
Do you cover PLAB / the UKMLA?
Yes. Passmed has a dedicated PLAB Part 1 question bank, alongside the UKMLA and medical school finals for students, plus UK Royal College postgraduate exams (MRCP, MRCS, MRCOG, MRCEM, Primary FRCA, MRCPsych, MRCPCH, MRCGP AKT, and more) for doctors in training. Can I become a question writer?

Does Passmed track my performance?
Yes. Your dashboard automatically tracks your performance by topic and subtopic, showing where you're strongest and where to focus so you can target your weak areas. You can see your accuracy per topic, your activity over time, and how much of each bank you've completed.
How many questions are in each bank?
Question counts vary by exam. See our Exams page for the specific count for each bank. All banks grow continuously as our doctor author teams add new questions.
Do you only provide the correct answer, or a full explanation?
Each question includes the correct answer and a detailed explanation. These explanations are derived from quality resources and publications, reference current NICE guidelines, and are written by qualified doctors. We also explain why each incorrect answer option is wrong, understanding the distractors is one of the most effective ways to avoid similar traps on the real exam.
What is the difference between Timed Mode and Tutor Mode?
- Timed Mode, you won't see any answers or explanations until you submit the entire test. Use this to simulate real exam conditions and practise pacing.
- Tutor Mode, the correct answer and full explanation are displayed immediately after each question, allowing you to learn as you go. Best for building knowledge on new topics.
